This trip takes you to the edge of the Glacier des Diablerets, the highest point in the Vaud Alps region from where you’ll have a stunning panorama of no fewer than 24 snow-capped 4000-metre giants: Eiger, Mönch, Jungfrau, Matterhorn, Grand Combin are among them, and you’ll even glimpse Mont Blanc in the distance.
A cable car will carry you from the Col du Pillon to the summit station. There you will enjoy a Swiss raclette at Botta 3000, the imposing high-altitude restaurant built by Swiss star-architect Mario Botta standing at 3000 m above sea level. You can then experience how it feels to be suspended over the void. The Peak Walk, a 107-metre-long and 80-centimetre-wide suspension bridge, connects two peaks of the Diablerets massif.
