Daniel Borel

Daniel Borel co-founded Logitech in 1981. He served on the company's Executive Management Team until 1998, when he retired as CEO to assume the position of Chairman of the Board which he held till December 31st, 2007. Daniel Borel was instrumental in growing Logitech around the world. He established the company's high-volume operations in Asia as early as 1986. In 1988 he took the Logitech Group public on the Swiss stock, and on the Nasdaq in 1997. Daniel Borel holds an engineering degree from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (Switzerland) and a master's degree in Computer Science from Stanford University. He is currently Chairman Emeritus of Logitech and serves on the board of defitech, a foundation that brings IT technology to disabled persons.
