Freelance science cartoonist and illustrator (Italy)

Claudia Flandoli

Claudia is an Italian biology graduate, turned freelance cartoonist, writer and illustrator. She has written about vaccines and plant diseases for the Italian website Graphic News, has contributed several science articles to the magazine Donna Moderna, and is one of the authors of the projects Comics&Science and Archimede by the Italian National Research Council. She is co-author of two educational books in mathematics and is currently working on a comic book on genetics for children. Based in Cambridge, UK, she also makes illustrations for research journals in collaboration with research institutes.
