Katrin Männik

Katrin Männik is a research associate at the Center for Integrative Genomics, University of Lausanne, and a researcher at the Estonian Genome Center, University of Tartu (Estonian population biobank). An human and medical geneticist by training, her research is focused on genetic variants underlying neurodevelopmental disorders and variability of neurodevelopmental traits in the population. Besides basic research she is interested in translational and ethical aspects of developmental genetics. Katrin Männik is actively involved in projects that aim to set the ground for emergence of personalized medicine initiatives through knowledge transfer from researchers to the medical community and the society. She is recipient of a Jacobs Foundation Fellowship 2017-2019.
