Begüm Mutuş completed her graduate studies in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Yıldız Technical University. She has spent most of her working career in the food and beverages branches working in various assignments in research and development, regulatory and scientific affairs. She joined Yıldız Holding in 2007 and worked as Regulatory, Scientific Affairs and Sustainability Director. She has been assigned to the General Manager position and became Board Member of the Sabri Ülker Foundation in 2014 She runs the Sabri Ülker Foundation and its very well-known and widely applied social responsibility joint projects with Government Offices, reaching more than six million children, students and teachers. Most recently, the Balanced Nutrition Education Programme received the Felis Award, and the Sabri Ülker Foundation received Mercury Award, Felis, Social Responsibility in Health Awards and Mercomm Inova Awards in 2017 and 2018. Highly experienced in government affairs, she holds board member and representation roles at national and international Business and Sector associations. She has been recently selected to serve as Vice Chair for European Food Information Council.
