Freelance science journalist (Switzerland)
Hanna Wick has been working in science journalism for 15 years. Starting at the traditional daily newspaper “Neue Zürcher Zeitung”, she later worked in radio and on TV for Swiss Radio and Television (SRF). These days she’s working as a freelancer for different magazines and newspapers. She’s a former board member of SASJ and has been elected “Swiss Science Journalist of the Year” in 2014. Besides that she’s also one of the organizers of the Swiss “Reporterforum”, a yearly journalism conference with a focus on storytelling. A physicist by training, she tends to overanalyze stuff and get into conflict about that with her editor, but oh well, that’s a small price to pay for the wonders of the universe. Don’t you think?
