Anna Wu

Anna Wu (Wu Shuang) is a film and TV writer and member of the World Chinese Science Fiction Association. She has won two medals from the Nebula Awards for Global Chinese Science Fiction: a gold medal for originality in a science fiction film for “Mist” in 2015, and a silver medal for her novelette “Stairway to Heaven” in 2018. Her works and translations have been published in magazines such as Clarkesworld, Galaxy's Edge, and Science Fiction World. Some of her stories appear in “The Broken Stars” collection; she has also authored the novella “Twins” and a translated collection, “The Shape of Thoughts,” and was involved in China’s 2019 breakout science fiction blockbuster THE WANDERING EARTH.
