Andre Biernath is a journalist graduated from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP) with a post-graduate degree in communication and digital media at Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing (ESPM). He has been working for 8 years as a reporter for the magazine Saúde É Vital, of Editora Abril, the biggest publishing house in Latin America. The main areas of interest in his work are medicine and infographics. Through the publication, he has covered more than 60 national and international scientific congresses and won five journalism awards. He is one of the founders and the first president of the Brazilian Network of Journalists and Communicators of Science (RedeComCiência).
