Alan Boyle
Alan Boyle is aerospace and science editor for GeekWire, a Seattle-based tech news site, as well as president of the Council for the Advancement of Science Writing. He specializes in coverage of commercial spaceflight and space science and exploration. Prior to joining GeekWire, Boyle served as science editor for NBCNews.com and MSNBC, and before that as foreign news editor for the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. He is the author of "The Case for Pluto: How a Little Planet Made a Big Difference." Boyle's work has received the AAAS Science Journalism Award, the National Academies Communication Award, the NASW Science in Society Award and other honors.
