Giovana Girardi is a science and environmental reporter from O Estado de S. Paulo, one of the biggest newspapers in Brazil. She was a Knight Science Journalism fellow at MIT (class 2014-15) and a MBL Logan Science Journalism (class 2015). Over the past years, she has been focusing on climate change research and has covered several UN Climate Conferences, including COP in Paris. She has also worked on stories about Amazon and other Brazilian biomes deforestation and lost of biodiversity.
