Developing and implementing strategies for digital communication has been the centerpiece of Sabine Gysi's work as a communications professional. After varied work experiences with a multinational company, an agency startup, a think tank, and cultural institutions, she joined the Jacobs Foundation in 2016. Intrigued by the world of science communication and the profound transformation it is currently undergoing, Sabine Gysi is dedicated to conceptualizing, operating and developing BOLD - the Jacobs Foundation's Blog on Learning and Development. BOLD is an interdisciplinary initiative dedicated to spreading the word about how children and young people develop and learn. This digital platform for the exchange of ideas and opinions attracts a worldwide audience of approximately 15,000 readers a month. BOLD allows researchers at various stages of their careers as well as science journalists, policymakers, and practitioners to have their say.
