Yao-Hua Law is a freelance writer based in Malaysia. He writes about animals, plants and humans for various outlets including Science, Science News, The Scientist, Nature and Mosaic. He won the Asian Scientist Writing Prize 2015, and is a finalist for the Medical Journalists Association 2018. Before 2014, he spent seven memorable years studying insects eat others and their own young.
