Natasha Loder is The Economist's Health Policy Editor and works as a journalist and editor in print, radio, and film. She has previously worked as the Economist's health correspondent, the Midwest correspondent--based in Chicago--and as a science and technology correspondent. In almost two decades with The Economist, she has covered a large variety of subjects from science, medicine, space, technology, the environment, policy, and politics. Prior to 2000, she worked as a news reporter for the journal Nature. She has won many awards for her work.
