Journalist, writer and entrepreneur, Thiago Medaglia is the founder of Ambiental Media, a Brazilian startup that transforms scientific content into accessible, compelling and innovative journalism products. Freelancer writer for National Geographic Brasil, where he was previously an editor (2010-2013), Medaglia is an awarded reporter, publishing in several media outlets, such as ESPN Brazil magazine, Mother Jones, Estadao, Folha de Sao Paulo, and others. Coauthor of six books on environmental topics; fellow at the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ, 2015); certificated in Entrepreneurial Journalism by the City University of New York (Cuny, 2016); Speaker in two editions of the World Conference of Science Journalists (WCSJ, 2017, 2019).
