Ritu Sarin is an investigative reporter with over three decades in the profession. She is presently executive editor in the INDIAN EXPRESS and heads the newspapers investigative team. She is also one of the earliest members of ICIJ (international consortium of investigative journalists) and is a founder member of ICIJ's network Committee. She has led the investigation from India for six ICIJ projects. She is a recipient of several journalism awards including the Ramnath Goenka award for journalist of the year; the Prem Bhatia award for journalist of the year and the IPI award for excellence in journalism. She has attended and spoken in investigative journalism conferences in several parts of the world.
